Porn stars come and go. Some are for the moment, one or two films briefly appreciated, then obscurity. The career of a porn star is fleeting, but a few years before beauty and appeal start to fade, and another is waiting in the wings to take his place. Only a handful are eternal, years after leaving the sexual arena...or sadly, of leaving this world. They are used as yard-sticks against which the new-kid-on-the-block is measured: Jack Wrangler, Ryan Idol, Joey Stefano, Casey Donovan, Kip Noll and Jeff Sttryker. Top of the list, however, is and always will be the lodestar that was Al Parker, not just on account of a buffed body and phenomenal endowment, but because of his supreme qualities as a human being.
